Thank God He brought “Tity Boi” a mighty long way. His 5th solo project “Rap or Go To The League” is a dope work of art. This masterpiece is something you can listen to all the way through. Incredibly appropriate features that elaborates his message of being your true self. His album begins with a melodic and intimate approach to death. Then you’ll find yourself twerking and celebrating your individuality. 2 Chainz ends the project with analytical view of the politics surrounding taxes and financial responsibility. This album confirms that 2 Chainz is an artist that speaks about the times, understands the magnitude and power behind his words, and provides a colorful perspective to the issues that affect our culture.

Forgiven (feat. Marsha Ambrosius)

A soulful introduction that taps into the emotion behind the limited mentality that leads to death in our communities.

“Pray for our sins, I, pray for our souls. The tears that we’re crying…let them all be forgiven”.

Threat 2 Society

He sampled The Truthettes song “So Good to be Alive” and it’s a WHOLE VIBE! Good “Drinking Music” as the old country folks would say. He explains how he’s different than other rappers. You really get to know Tauheed Epps as a man and why he’s underrated as a hip-hop artist.

“I done some things I ain’t proud of…like sold my mom drugs. The devil put something toxic in me, demons tryna have an auction in me. They wanna sell my soul, ‘Going once, Going twice,”…NEVER SOLD”.

Money In The Way

Ride out to this song that talks about the different elements that money has had on 2 Chainz throughout his life.

“I came from can goods, I came from paper plates. God don’t make mistakes, but He’ll make a way”.

Statute of Limitations

As most of his fans know, before rapping and basketball, 2 Chainz was really in these streetz! He admits that he hasn’t made a “play” since 2011 so he’s opening up about his past life (he’s name dropping along the way).

“I put in the work, I’m gon’ talk my shit”.

High Top Versace (feat. Young Thug)

He flexin’ on this song, a nostalgic tribute to the sound/vibe found in Georgia.

“It’s so crazy how this money start a lot stuff”.

Whip (feat Travis Scott)

He slows it down a bit and creates a free spirt energy that will play in clubs all around the world.

“She a king like Billie Jean…Is you finner than Fashion Nova, I wanna see what’s really in them jeans”

NCAA

A big song highlighting how he has evolved through life’s situation (with a bomb ass guitar solo). Banger!

“We be ballin hard, I just want some paper” .

Momma I Hit A Lick (feat Kendrick Lamar)

Do yourself a favor and just LISTEN!

“I’m an emperor, pharisees, sinister. Someone smoking on Indica. Fox on me like Vivica. I pray before meals, spiritual”.

Rule The World (feat Ariana Grande)

Sampled Amerie’s “Why Don’t We Fall in Love” and created a cute and flirty vibe.

“I realized we can fall in love”.

Girl’s Best Friend (feat Ty Dolla $ign)

This song will have you grinding on whoever is next to you and enjoying the moment. Another club banger.

“I spent some more cash, get some more ass”.

2 Dollar Bill (feat Lil Wayne and E-40)

We all love when E-40 blesses our ears with a bomb ass feature and this song is no exception. This song celebrates individuality. (you will definitely be twerking).

“I’m rare”!

I Said Me

Transparency at its best. This jam is completely open to all the components that makes up who he is as a man.

“I just lost count, counting blessings”.

I’m Not Crazy, Life is (feat Chance the Rapper and Kodak Black)

This amazing collaboration provides an emotional approach to acknowledging what life brings you through.

“I feel like good ass weed can solve any problem”.

Sam

Only the responsible adults will be able to appreciate this song. It’s about educating yourself, growing and recognizing what’s happening around you.

“One day I told Puff, ‘they want me to pay two million in taxes’. That boy Diddy said, ‘I had to pay a hunnid. But I gave them a 105 (million) just in case”.
